Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has dismissed speculation that he is planning to work with President William Ruto, reaffirming his commitment to uniting the opposition ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Kalonzo spoke during a meeting with a delegation led by Linda Mwananchi and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, where opposition leaders discussed strategies for strengthening their support base and presenting a united front.
The former Vice President dismissed social media claims that he had recently held talks with President Ruto, saying the circulation of old photographs showing the two together was a deliberate attempt to create divisions within the opposition.

He accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of using misinformation to weaken the opposition but maintained that such efforts would only strengthen their resolve to work together.
Linda Mwananchi said her visit to Kalonzo’s Karen residence was a show of solidarity, insisting that the opposition’s goal of unseating President Ruto in 2027 can only be achieved through unity.
The leaders called on opposition supporters to consolidate their support base and speak with one voice as preparations for the next General Election gather momentum.
