Opposition plans Western Kenya tour
The battle for political influence in Western Kenya is expected to intensify after leaders of the United Alternative Government announced a three-day tour of the region this month.
The tour will be led by DAP-Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa alongside other opposition leaders and is expected to cover Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Kakamega, Vihiga and Busia counties.
Announcing the tour, Wamalwa said, “As we begin the month of August, the United Alternative Government returns to Western Kenya for a three-day tour.”
He also added, “On 23rd August, we shall gather in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County, to commemorate the enduring legacy of the late Michael Kijana Wamalwa.”
