Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has renewed calls for Kenya to adopt either a fully presidential or parliamentary system of government.
The legislator argued that the current hybrid structure often creates divided political loyalties and confusion over accountability.
“Kenya must choose one clear system of governance that promotes accountability and efficient leadership,” Barasa said.
He said the debate should form part of broader constitutional discussions ahead of the next General Election.
