Ruto Says Kenya Ready to Lead as Global Economy Enters New Industrial Era
President William Ruto says Kenya has reached a turning point six decades after independence.
Speaking on the country’s development path, the President noted that while Kenya watched the first three waves from the sidelines, the current shift toward digital manufacturing, green energy, and AI presents a real opportunity to catch up.
Since our independence more than six decades ago, the world has witnessed three great waves of industrialization and economic transformation, and Kenya has stood at the threshold of each one of them,” Ruto stated.
He urged investment in skills, infrastructure, and innovation to ensure Kenya does not just participate, but leads the next wave of growth.
