Ruto launches National conversation beyond vision 2030
President William Ruto is today expected to lead the launch of a national conversation on Kenya’s development agenda beyond Vision 2030.
The conversation brings together different sectors of society as the country seeks to determine its long-term priorities after the expiry of the current national development blueprint.
President Ruto has described the initiative as an important opportunity for Kenyans to deliberate on the country’s future and agree on a new development trajectory.
The discussions are expected to focus on economic transformation, job creation, governance, infrastructure, technology and the role of young people in Kenya’s future.
The President has called on Kenyans to participate in the process, saying the country’s next development agenda should reflect the aspirations of citizens.
The launch comes at a time when political activity is already intensifying ahead of the 2027 General Election.
