Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has declared that future political decisions affecting the Mt Kenya region will be made in Wamunyoro, dismissing the possibility of another Limuru political meeting.
Gachagua said the region’s leaders will hold consultations from his Wamunyoro home as they work towards building a united opposition ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Addressing supporters, Gachagua stated, “There will be no Limuru Four. All Mt Kenya decisions will be made in Wamunyoro.”
Political observers say the declaration signals Gachagua’s intention to remain a key player in opposition politics despite his impeachment .
