The Directorate of Criminal Investigations is probing the fatal shooting of renowned psychologist Dr Victoria Mutiso, who was gunned down by unknown assailants on Wednesday morning in Nairobi.
DCI detectives say they have opened an inquiry and are pursuing leads to identify the gunmen behind the attack. The killing has shocked colleagues and clients who describe Dr Mutiso as a compassionate mental-health advocate dedicated to supporting families and young people across Kenya.
Her body was moved to the mortuary as forensic teams processed the scene. DCI has urged anyone with information to come forward to help bring those responsible to justice.
