Ronaldo Receives 30-Day Walkout Suspension.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been handed a 30-day suspension and fined €255 by the Portuguese Football Association after leaving the national team’s camp following a disagreement with head coach Jorge Jesus over his role in the squad, according to Reuters.

The disciplinary council upheld the charge against the 41-year-old forward, ruling that he had intentionally breached the federation’s disciplinary regulations. Proceedings had been opened following reports about his departure from Portugal’s camp in Copenhagen earlier in October.
According to Reuters, Ronaldo left the camp before Portugal’s Nations League match against Denmark after becoming frustrated over his role in the team. The incident followed Portugal’s match against Norway, during which the veteran striker was an unused substitute.

Ronaldo had accused Jesus of breaking promises concerning his position in the squad. However, the coach denied making any agreement with the forward, although he left the door open for Ronaldo’s return to the national team.
The incident sparked questions about the relationship between the two men and Ronaldo’s future with Portugal. The disciplinary decision now adds another complication to the veteran forward’s international career as he continues to represent his country at 41.

Ronaldo later apologised for leaving his teammates and failing to acknowledge supporters after the Norway match. He also indicated that he remained available for selection after serving any punishment imposed by the federation.
The Portuguese Football Association has not clarified which matches or activities the suspension will cover, or whether time already served under a provisional suspension will count towards the final punishment.

The uncertainty leaves questions over Ronaldo’s availability for Portugal’s upcoming fixtures.
