France Seek Revenge Against Belgium.
France will host Belgium at the Stade de France on Monday, October 5, in a high-profile UEFA Nations League Group A1 encounter, with the hosts looking to strengthen their position at the top of the group after the two sides met only a week earlier.
France enter the match after earning a 1-0 victory over Belgium in Brussels on September 28, when Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise scored the decisive goal in the 88th minute. The result gave France an important away victory and increased the pressure on Belgium ahead of the return fixture.

The rematch comes after both teams played again on October 2. France drew 1-1 with Italy, while Belgium responded strongly by defeating Türkiye 3-0. The contrasting results mean Belgium will arrive in Paris with renewed confidence, despite having lost the previous meeting with France.
France have enjoyed a strong start to their Nations League campaign. They defeated Türkiye 1-0 on September 25 before overcoming Belgium by the same score three days later. Their draw with Italy on October 2 left them unbeaten in the group during the current sequence of matches.

Belgium, meanwhile, began the campaign with a 2-0 victory away to Italy before losing narrowly to France. Their 3-0 victory over Türkiye has given them an opportunity to respond immediately and keep themselves firmly involved in the battle for the top positions in Group A1.
The match is therefore more than a routine group fixture. France will be seeking another victory over their neighbours and further control of the group, while Belgium will be aiming to reverse the result from Brussels and demonstrate that they can compete with one of Europe’s strongest sides.

The fixture is scheduled for Monday evening at the Stade de France, with UEFA listing the kick-off for 20:45 Central European Time.
