New Hope For Dagoretti Health Care
Earlier today, Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie , defence PS Patrick Mariru toured Mutuini Hospital to inspect the ongoing construction works.
The leaders moved through the maternity wing, outpatient departments, and emergency units, noting that most structural work is now complete with finishing touches underway.
They expressed satisfaction with the contractors’ progress and urged speed without compromising quality.
“This hospital will be a game-changer for Mutuini and all of Dagoretti South,” Kiarie said. “Residents have walked long distance for years,Soon mothers will deliver safely here, and patients will access labs and emergency care within minutes.”Mariru assured the community of continued government support, saying the Ministry of Defence and health partners are committed to equipping the facility and staffing it adequately.
“We want this hospital open and serving people as soon as possible,” he added.MCA Mbugua Mwangi thanked residents for their patience, noting the hospital will reduce congestion at Kenyatta and Mbagathi hospitals.
Once completed, Mutuini Hospital is expected to serve thousands with affordable outpatient, maternity, laboratory, and emergency services.
Local residents who joined the inspection welcomed the visit, saying the project has already created jobs and they are hopeful for better, closer, and dignified healthcare.
