Thousands Attend Natalie Githinji’s Endometriosis Warriors Event
Thousands of Kenyans gathered at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Sunday, September 27, for media personality Natalie Githinji’s Endometriosis Warriors event.
The event brought together women living with endometriosis, celebrities, musicians, influencers and members of the public. It combined entertainment with awareness activities aimed at encouraging open conversations about endometriosis and supporting women affected by the condition.
Several Kenyan artistes performed during the event, including Nadia Mukami, Bensoul, Lilmaina, Arrow Bwoy, Guardian Angel, Bahati and Fena Gitu. Charisma and Okello Max also joined Natalie on stage for a dance session, while other performers kept the audience entertained.
The event was organised through Natalie’s Yellow Bold Girl Initiative in partnership with Eric Omondi’s Sisi Kwa Sisi Initiative Kenya.
The gathering also attracted attention after Karen Nyamu was heckled by some members of the audience while addressing the crowd.
Natalie, who has publicly spoken about her own experience with endometriosis and her recent surgery, continues to use her platform to raise awareness about the condition and encourage women to seek support and prioritise their health.
