Tiphaine Auzière, the 42-year-old daughter of French First Lady Brigitte Macron, has reportedly found love with a man nearly half her age.
Auzière confirmed her relationship with 22-year-old Antoine Lecomte through social media, sharing moments from their recent romantic trip to Amsterdam. The couple was seen exploring the city, visiting museums and travelling together in a camper van.
Lecomte, a student and kitesurfing instructor, reportedly met Auzière in the French coastal resort of Le Touquet. A friend told French magazine Gala that the connection between the two was immediate, saying they share interests including travel, entrepreneurship and adventure.
The relationship comes after Auzière separated from Antoine Choteau, her partner of 15 years, in 2025. She has reportedly introduced Lecomte to her two children, Élise and Aurèle.
Brigitte Macron is also said to have welcomed her daughter’s new relationship. According to the Gala source, the French First Lady is primarily concerned with her daughter’s happiness and is pleased to see her thriving.
The romance has attracted attention partly because of Brigitte Macron’s own relationship with French President Emmanuel Macron, who is 24 years younger than her. The pair first met when Brigitte was Emmanuel’s teacher at a Catholic school in Amiens, and they later married in 2007.
Auzière previously defended her mother’s relationship, describing Emmanuel and Brigitte as her personal example of love. Her new romance has now brought renewed attention to the Macron family’s unconventional age-gap relationships.
