Political realignments ahead of the 2027 General Election continue to gather momentum after Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and his allies intensified the Linda Mwananchi movement.
The movement is expected to hold its next major rally in Homa Bay County, as leaders seek to rally support behind a united opposition.
Speaking on the initiative, Sifuna said the movement is focused on bringing together Kenyans who want political change ahead of next year’s polls.
The latest development comes as opposition leaders continue consultations on the best strategy to challenge President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza administration.
