Centum Investments has appointed Thomas Omondi-Achola as Acting Group Chief Executive Officer following the appointment of James Mworia as the inaugural CEO of the National Infrastructure Fund (NIF).Omondi currently serves as Centum’s Partner, Portfolio Operations and Group Chief Operating Officer, a position he has held since 2018.
Before joining Centum, Omondi spent more than 13 years at Kenya Airways, where he held various executive positions, including Chief Transformation Officer, Director of Strategy and Performance Management, Acting Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager of Jambojet.He also served as Head of Operations Control, Head of HR Business Partners and Head of IT Development at the airline.
Omondi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi, as well as an MBA in General Management from IESE Business School in Spain.
