Firebrand Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has drawn a hard line against Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, warning that respect must not be mistaken for fear.
Speaking on at a public gathering in her constituency, Millie accused the governor of undermining her politically in her own backyard.
The outspoken legislator said she has always respected Wanga as a younger sister and as the ODM National Chairperson, but that loyalty is being taken for granted.
“Gladys Wanga, I love you. You are a tough and brave woman, just like me. If you attack or confront me, as you always do, I will confront you back.
I am not afraid,” Millie declared.She claimed Wanga has been sending people to attack and weaken her in Suba North, even after she voted for Wanga in every election, a favor she says was never returned.
Millie also referenced a recent chaotic incident in Mfangano Island where alleged goons confronted her and threatened her life.
The MP, who has already declared interest in the 2032 presidency, warned that if provoked further, she will openly campaign against Wanga, noting that President William Ruto’s endorsement does not guarantee votes in Homa Bay.
